Andrew Wilt is a Senior Software Engineer at IBM in the z/OS DFSMS development organization. Over his career, he has worked in DFSMSdss as the product owner, and worked with the z/OSMF, Language Environment, and System XML teams. Later, he designed the DFSMShsm Transparent Cloud Tiering support, and more recently made good on a long-standing requirement for DFSMShsm to support backup and recover of z/OS UNIX files. Most recently, he added a new base component to DFSMS called DFSMSdfp CDA for Cloud Data Access, which adds Access Method capabilities for z/OS applications to access Cloud Object data as easily as reading or writing tape or disk data.
