Rune Christensen is a Lead Software Engineer working at Bankdata Denmark.
He started working with the mainframe in 2006.
He is a member of the Mainframe Developer Experience team in Bankdata; the team is responsible for providing tools, support and education for all mainframe developers in Bankdata.
Current focus of the team is to lift Bankdatas mainframe development to a DevOps mindset, and move towards a modern IDE and toolstack.
Besides team projects, Rune works with COBOL and SQL performance, and is the lead and ambassador for COBOL Check in the Open Mainframe Project.
