This session covers latest enhancements to COBOL, PL/I, C/C++ and Java, and how they can help accelerate digital transformation and reduce CPU usage on IBM z16.
It will also provide an overview of the latest IBM Open Enterprise Languages (Node.js, Python and Go) and how organizations can leverage them to shorten the delivery time for new applications requirements and take advantage of colocation with critical applications and data to increase performance.
Program Director, Product Management and Strategy, Enterprise Products and Compilers. Roland Koo is based in Toronto, Canada and has been with compiler area in IBM for 30 years. Prior to the current position, Roland held a number of leadership positions in product management and compiler development. He has also collaborated with university partners, IBM research, and IBM Center for Advanced Studies and successfully managed a number of strategic research projects in the area of advanced compiler optimization for supercomputers.
