Join our workshop to get a feel of using open-source cloud-based software for doing your mainframe development. Using a laptop, you will be able to experience development in VS Code to analyze, edit, compile, debug COBOL apps and automate your mainframe tasks using Zowe CLI. No installation is required, because everything is running in a browser.
Whether you are new to VS Code or an experienced multi-language/multi-platform developer, our team will support you with a selection of use cases. Come experience working with integrated edit/view, Git, team development or automation of mainframe tasks with Zowe.

I am a product manager with over 15 years of experience in various technical and leadership roles on the Maiframe at Broadcom and IBM. Early 2017 I joined Broadcom product management team. My current focus is modern developer experience. As I myself started my career in mainframe engineering I deeply sympathize with new-to-the-platform developers struggle and passionate about bringing the best user experience to every mainframe dev team!
