Stream: Systems Management

Your batch processing at night has been around for many years and you feel very comfortable with it. However, in just a moment, it can become like the kid in Home Alone and start misbehaving. It might be a software error, a human error, hardware problems or something more nefarious. With growing volumes of data and complexities in applications, can you be sure you can recover? When the auditors and compliance officers come, both internal and external, can you demonstrate that you know what data sets are critical and prove they are backed up appropriately? With growing regulations in the EU (DORA) and around the world requiring adherence to strict resilience standards, are you ready and able to meet with auditors to prove compliance? This session will discuss these challenges and more and how IBM z Batch Resiliency provides a solution and provide a live demo.
