The IBM Z Service Automation Suite integrates the automation, network management, and scheduling capabilities that you need to address business agility on IBM Z.
This session will cover exciting new features in IBM Z Workload Scheduler and IBM Z Service Automation Suite that enable analytics, AI and ChatOps capabilities for your workload automation environment on z/OS and hybrid cloud.
The session explains how IZWS supports the overall IBM Z AIOps strategy by delivering AI-powered anomaly detection, predictive SLA management, integrations into hybrid cloud, and integrations across the IBM Z portfolio.
As an example, the session will include a demo of how to get alerted by IZWS events through a chat and collaboration platfrom like Microsoft Teams and how to make use of the chatbot included with IBM Z ChatOps to query and control scheduled jobs from a chat channel - hence providing a collaborative AIOps experience for IZWS.

Wolfgang Schaeberle is a senior product manager at IBM focusing on delivering innovative solutions in the IBM Z AIOps area. He is the IBM product manager for IBM Z Workload Scheduler, IBM Z Service Automation Suite, IBM Z ChatOps, and IBM Service Management Unite. Prior to his current role, Wolfgang has been the technical leader for IBM Service Management Unite. He has worked in multiple disciplines of Systems Management, especially automated operations, business resilience and performance management. In addition, he has a strong background in user experience design as well as application development.
