Stream: Systems Management
Time: 16:30 - 17:30
This session will go through recent enhancements delivered for IBM Z System Automation.
Topics covered are modernizations through Service Management Unite (SMU) - providing operators a web user interface for working with dynamic resources, run modes, SDF, and more.
On top of that, you will see how ChatOps can be used to interact with Z System Automation.
Finally, we will talk about several integration possibilities, such as using the SA REST API and the SA plugin for the Zowe CLI for DevOps scenarios, the SA Ansible collection to run SA commands from Ansible playbooks, and the possibility to stream SDF messages to Kafka.
In that context you will also learn about a new self-paced learning module that is available for free which allows you to earn the "IBM Z System Automation - Integration by System Programmer" badge.
