Giovanni Palumbo, HCL Software: Senior Regional Sales Director, responsible for the IBM branded products in the HCL Mainframe Portfolio. Giovanni joined IBM in 1991 as a software engineer, moving later to the managerial role in development and customer support areas where he was accountable for multiple products in the IBM/Tivoli Laboratory based in Rome. In 2016 he transitioned to HCL after the Intellectual Property Partnership agreement between IBM & HCL being responsible for IBM Workload Scheduler development & support, joining a few years later to the sales organization where he is currently in charge for software and services sales
