Rocket Software, a leading provider of mainframe and enterprise software, has modernised their development environment to enable development, test, support and sales personnel to leverage a self-service provisioning system to enable rapid exploitation of the mainframe for personal use. This has dramatically reduced overall IT costs in their mission.
This session will describe some of the technology behind the provisioning so that other businesses can leverage similar capabilities to reduce their mainframe development costs while exploiting the mainframe for intrinsic operational values in conjunction with a hybrid cloud operational environment. This can be part of a modernisation strategy.
