Mike began on the IBM mainframe in Germany in the 1980s with major software houses specialising in migration projects across multiple mainframe platforms (VM, VSE, MVS, BS1000, BS2000). Projects planning encompassed all aspects of the computer centre - hardware, OS, system software, applications software, personnel, etc. Fitz Software & Co. was formed in Ireland in 1991 and introduces niche z/OS products throughout EMEA. Part of their portfolio, with appropriate background and skills to this presentation, includes the product ICE (Integrity Controls Environment) with focus on z/OS IMAGE and sub-system definition, image/sysplex changes impact and management.
