Mike Fontanetta is a distinguished technologist and hybrid IT evangelist with decades of experience creating and delivering high value business outcomes. He has been working on the mainframe and other platforms for decades and is the Senior Director leading zSystems Innovation Engineering for Ensono. Mike is a recognized Ensono Fellow, IBM Champion, and a member of the IBM Z Technical Council. Mike’s work with Ensono focuses on collaborating with vendors and industry experts on the modern cloud connect mainframe. He provides a voice to the industry as he presents at many zSystems conferences where he shares experiences and insights of adopting and leveraging modern mainframe capabilities. During his free time Mike collects vinyl, attends concerts, and spends time with his grandchildren.
