In this beginner-level session, the speaker will describe various forms that a query can take, the things that can happen during a query, and the basic controls available for the application developer and/or the database administrator to affect those things. Attendees will leave this session understanding: A. What a query looks like B. What a fetch does, and whether it is good or bad C. What a getpage does, and whether it is good or bad D.
