In this session we will see how Instana can be used to observe and monitor IBM MQ and the applications which use MQ. We will see how MQ Administrators and Site Reliability Engineers can benefit from a single pane of glass to monitor their messaging environment, and also explore how requests can be traced through our integration layer. Finally, we will see how IBM Turbonomic can be used to optimise applications that use MQ, to ensure optimal resource usage and performance.

Tim is a Solution Architect in IBM Client Engineering. He has 12 years’ experience in integration, ranging from testing MQ as part of the development team, through implementing MQ and IIB at large customers during his time in IBM Expert Labs, to now working with customers to help them modernize their integration platforms using IBM Cloud Pak. Tim was an author on the 2020 RedBook “Accelerating Modernization with Agile Integration”.
Mohamed is a Technology Engineer in the IBM Client Engineering Team, based in Woking, UK. Mohamed has extensive experience in AIOps, Monitoring and Integration having previously worked to deliver production solutions for customers across the Middle East and Africa as part of IBM Expert Labs, and guiding clients on new technology as part of IBM Technology Sales in the UK
