Galasa - Testing on the Mainframe without knowing the Mainframe!

(6G)

Stream: Virtual Room 6
Time: 10:30 - 11:30

Presentation

You don't need to be an expert mainframer to be able to test on the mainframe. Galasa is an open source integration test framework, developed by IBMers, built with a knowledge of z/OS platforms, enabling end-to-end testing of applications that run on the mainframe without stubbing or mocking. Complex parts of the tests are abstracted away and written by experts, allowing people new to the mainframe to test z/OS applications like an expert would. This presentation will tell you what Galasa is and how it can be used to help you test on the mainframe, without knowing the mainframe.
