The Zowe Desktop is an extensible web framework that delivers some great mainframe apps such as a VT Terminal and 3270 emulator together with rich GUI interfaces for working with data sets, USS, and JES. The Desktop is extensible and has been by a number of vendors to benefit from shared services like single sign-on.
This talk will cover the desktop from A to Z, showing the base function it delivers together with its extension points, rich showcase of apps, and a little room for future roadmap items like an app store, other upcoming features, and questions.
There is currently no attachment for Zowe Desktop. An extensible thin client for mainframers.
