SDSF Security – How does it work on z/OS 2.5

(9E)

Stream: Virtual Room 9
Time: 15:30 - 16:30

Presentation

From z/OS 2.5 onwards, SDSF only uses SAF for the security checks for the numerous system resources that are processed during normal user actions.
This presentation describes the process flow for security checking in SDSF in z/OS 2.5 and provides advice and migration planning tips for customers that might still be using non-SAF security on earlier releases.
