The focus of this is addressing the barrier to entry for users when working on the z Platform, by expanding our z trial portfolio of services to support a greater range of workloads, products and educational resources for z Users. There is also an ongoing focus on engaging new z Users to expand the z Skills pool.

My name is Mark Hostler, I joined IBM in 2015 as a graduate working with the Betaworks department on CICS. in 2019 I took over the role of Offering manager for IBM z Trial, and since then i have been working to expand the pool of virtual z/OS resources to our customers and mainframe users.
