My name is Pooja Uppalapati. I have been with Broadcom for over 10 years now. In my current role, I lead a global team of front-end engineers. We work on React and Angular heavily. My team is amazing Pooja Uppalapati has been with Broadcom for over 13 years now. In her current role, she is leading a global team of front-end developers to modernize Mainframe applications by building intuitive, robust and scalable web applications. She was a speaker at Grace Hopper conference, SHARE and GSE in the past and has represented Broadcom at Broadcom Coding for Commitment STEM events. She thoroughly enjoys traveling and loves to visit mountains. She is married to her best friend and has a 4 year old.
I am a versatile software developer with over 16 years of experience in Mainframe environments, specializing in backend development using High Level Assembler on Vantage and frontend development on WebViewer. For the past three years, I have focused on UI development with React, bringing a modern touch to web applications. Previously, I spent six years in management roles, enhancing my leadership and project coordination skills. My background also includes over 20 years of hands-on experience with Linux systems. I studied Mechatronics with a specialization in Software Automation at the Technical University of Liberec.
