What’s new in zCX for Docker and Red Hat OpenShift on z/OS

(HR)

Stream: Large Systems
Time: 16:30 - 17:15

Presentation

z/OS Container Extensions (zCX) is a powerful way of running Linux on Z containers natively on the z/OS address space.   In this session, we will discuss the latest new features in both zCX for Docker and zCX for OpenShift (there are a lot of them!), and discuss how it can significantly expand what you can do with your z/OS systems by allowing you to deploy containerized Linux on Z software side by side with your z/OS software,  middleware, and data while preserving a z/OS operational model and z/OS Qualities of Service. Resource requirements, licensing, service, support, and capabilities will also briefly be discussed.
