Cyber Resilience has become the top topic for many organisations based on both internal concerns and external regulatory requirements. This session will discuss the various aspects of the IBM Z Cybervault architecture and how it provides capabilities to improve Cyber Resilience for IBM Z.
Nick is a STSM in the IBM Systems Division focussing on Enterprise Storage and storage integration with IBM server platforms. He also works with a number of clients on their storage strategy and advising them on their deployment of IBM storage technology. He is the author of several whitepapers and redbooks in the area of enterprise storage and resilience solutions. He is regarded as one of the world experts in IBM storage technology and holds a number of patents in these areas. Nick graduated from Trinity College Cambridge in 1994 with a degree in Mathematics and has previously worked both outside IBM and in the IBM services organisation in the areas of parallel sysplex, performance and enterprise storage.
Nathan is the Program Director of Product Management for IBM GDPS and IBM Z Cyber Vault. Having spent the past 25 years in Development, Test and Product management at IBM, Nathan has a passion for helping clients build highly resilient systems with the latest technology. In his current role he is driving IBM resiliency strategy as part of the GDPS team to ensure IBM’s clients have the capability they need to deliver 24x7 service to their users.
