Stream: CICS

The CICS Stream Chair will introduce you the stream and its organization. We shall pre-veiw and discuss some highlights of the stream sessions for the next few days. During the second part of this session IBM will provide a State of CICS TS.

Rob Stroud is a Technical Lead for CICS at NatWest Group. Rob has been Chairman of UK GSE for a number of years now. Rob started as CICS Cobol Developer in 1986 whilst at Unviversity, becoming an MVS Systems Programmer in 1991 and gradually working for larger organisations and becoming more of a specialist in CICS.
Steve Foley is a Chartered IT Professional, and a Brand Technical Specialist for IBM Z Software. He has worked with CICS and the mainframe in systems programming and technical pre-sales roles since 1987, and speaks frequently on CICS and IBM Z topics. He has a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from Edinburgh University.
Jenny He is a CICS Software Developer based at the Hursley laboratory in the UK. She started developing CICS releases since 2010, in the areas of asynchronous APIs, performance improvement of CICS web support, CICS Policy, IPIC high availability and event processing, CICS statistics and monitoring etc.. Apart from software development, Jenny is active in patenting and is a Master Inventor in IBM.
