SEB has successfully run COBOL and Assembler Academies for many years now, and we keep educating and excite our developers in our vibrant community, not least with the help of inspiring sessions together with IBM. In this talk, you will learn how the mainframe developers at SEB come together, at the office as well as by using digital channels and tools. We will talk about Code-a-thons, e-learning, breakfast(!), and how we onboard people to modern tooling like VS Code (we call it 'SEBz'). SEB is investing in its people, because the mainframe is a platform for growth.
