| Join us as we explore how to determine when to reorganize a Db2 object and the benefits of doing so. We'll also review the most critical Db2 catalog tables to show that the RTS entries can identify when an object shows signs of needing reorganization. Leave with a basic understanding of : 1) how updated catalog table entries completed during a REORG will confirm that the utility was successfully executed and a backup copy is available for use, 2) an overview of the internal changes made within the object will be outlined, and 3) the impact that the REORG process has on the access path and performance improvements. |
