This session will give a high level overview of DORA from the perspective of a Security Architect and then propose a system Z architecture for the implementation of DORA.
The session will cover the specific requirements of a well-rounded implementation of the compliance requirements in order to satisfy the DORA regulations.
This session will not cover specific products, specific implementations or specific controls related to a DORA offering, but will instead ensure that the audience members understands the requirements of DORA and be able to identify a solution that has encompassed all of the DORA requirements versus one that is using DORA for marketing speak ( I am not stating that any vendor would ever do that) as it applies to system Z.

Brian Marshall is the Chief Strategist of Vanguard. Marshall joined Vanguard in 2006 as the Director of Research and Development. Prior to joining Vanguard, Marshall served 11 years in software development management at Computer Associates and Innovative DP Designs, Inc., where he led the development team for IMS database utilities. He was also a professor of computer science at Solano College in Fairfield, California. Marshall holds a BS in Computer Science and MBA from Sonoma State University. Brian has also received the best session award for SHARE 2016 and 2017.
