Stream: WIT & IMS
Time: 12:15 - 13:00
IMS subsystem tuning is a very complicated task and if done correctly can save mainframe shops CPU and system resources. A well-tuned IMS subsystem means better throughput and faster transaction response times which will benefit the business.
In this session, we will discuss the three methods to tune your IMS :
• Method of recommending high frequency transactions to be defined as WFI or PWFI
• Method of isolating high-volume transactions from a group of transactions in a Class.
• Method of optimizing the number of MPRs.
