Our ongoing implementation
Macro 4 and UNICOM, as a software house, have been using their DevOps applications to analyse their own problems on z/OS for over 40 years.
A number of years ago, when open source was relatively new to the mainframe world, we embarked on an internal modernization approach to use a host of tools including Subversion.
We have now evolved to using more current open source tools within our DevOps pipeline including Git and VSCode.
This session explains what we needed to do to integrate all of those and also how we continue to leverage advancements in the future (including GenAI).
