Practical Approach to UI Test Automation

(DQ)

Stream: AppDev
Time: 15:15 - 16:00

Presentation

Historically one key metric in enterprise software application development is test automation which in turn measures the quality of the product. In today's world of modernization specifically of user interfaces, test automation has a very significant role and numerous choices.
User interface development changes rapidly from the dependent libraries to application level code which are key ingredients for an automated test making them highly dependent.
Join this session to understand how to build a solid test automation suite for modern user interface applications with actionable insights on building robust, maintainable and readable test suites including real life examples from a modern mainframe UI application.
We will dive in and show how to make sure tests are robust and don't fail with changes and updates from dependent libraries with many other examples and best practices.
