IBM's SDK for Go brings the benefits of Go — simplicity, robust compatibility, and performance — to z/OS. It also brings specific enhancements for the platform. This session will cover opportunities to modernize your existing business critical applications with Go by sharing:
- use-cases such as easy access to z/OS datasets and databases, using Go in a container for better portability of your applications, automatic porting of your existing applications using Wharf, interlanguage calls to COBOL, PL/I and HLASM.
- you can also expect a demo or two.
