Presentation

This session will discuss how you can leverage AI capabilities in IZWS.

The session will give an overview on using log analytics tools with IZWS log data, workload service assurance for intelligent SLA management, anomaly detection using AIDA, and a focus area of the session will be around using ChatOps tools to interact with IZWS and how this can be combined with IBM watsonx capabilities to provide a generative AI based assistant.

  • Wolfgang Schaeberle at IBM Europe
  • Wolfgang Schaeberle is a senior product manager at IBM focusing on delivering innovative solutions in the IBM Z AIOps area.  He is the IBM product manager for IBM Z Workload Scheduler, IBM Z Service Automation Suite, IBM Z ChatOps, and IBM Service Management Unite. Prior to his current role, Wolfgang has been the technical leader for IBM Service Management Unite. He has worked in multiple disciplines of Systems Management, especially automated operations, business resilience and performance management. In addition, he has a strong background in user experience design as well as application development.

  • Domenico D'Alterio at IBM Europe
  • Domenico D’Alterio is the IBM Principal Product Manager focused on The Linux Foundation's ZoweTM and IBM Z distribution for Zowe projects. He contributes to the open-source project strategy and direction as well as market success of IBM Z distribution for Zowe. Prior to his current role, Domenico was the Product Manager for offerings in the IBM Z AIOps area working on the strategic directions of multiple offerings. In the previous years, he covered different managerial positions in IBM Development and Customer support organization as well as the role of Product Manager of Z Analytics products, Domenico joined IBM in 1999. Starting as designer, moved to a managerial role in 2006, acting as Development and Customer Support manager in the former Tivoli division of IBM. He graduated in Electronic Engineering, in Italy.
