This session covers the highlights of the three ISPF Master Classes -- Edit: from A to .ZLAST, Edit Macros, and DSLIST, Member Lists, and UDLISTs to make the most out of your ISPF experience. 

You will learn tips and techniques to maximize your productivity with the editor and learn how to write edit macros to make your life easier!  In addition to many recently new primary and line commands, many Rexx examples will be shown for accessing and displaying lists as well as writing your own line commands.

Presented by a former ISPF/PDF product developer and technical editor for the Edit and Edit Macros publication.

 

 

Dan is a former technical architect for the ISPF/PDF development team.  He was the designer/developer of several product components including the Data Set List Utility and CUT/PASTE, and was technical editor for the Edit and Edit Macros publication.  After leaving the development lab, he was a Systems Engineer and one of the first IT Architects in the IBM Consulting Group.  He has been consulting independently for the past 25 years.  He is a frequent speaker at SHARE conferences on ISPF topics and serves as Deputy Project Manager for the ISPF Project
