IBM Z Monitoring Configuration Manager (MCM) greatly simplifies the configuration process of your OMEGAMON environments. This has been proven by several customers worldwide. At the same time there is always room for improvement and AHA ideas coming from our valued customers.
This session will show you what enhancements have been made to MCM over the past couple of years to make the usage even more simple and most efficient, compared to the existing PARMGEN alternative.

Matthias Tschaffler acts as the Product Owner for OMEGAMON for Db2 and OMEGAMON Configuration Manager / PARMGEN working for Rocket Software out of Stuttgart, Germany.
Before joining Rocket in 2017, Matthias worked as a Senior Software Engineer and customer advocate for OMEGAMON Db2 out of the IBM Labs in Böblingen and Silicon Valley.
Ash joined IBM in late 1990s as a graduate intake starting off working in the Systems Programmer team for ten years followed by twelve years with the IBM Lab Services team performing product consultancy on Composite Application Monitoring, and since 2017, Ash has been a Product Manager in the IBM Z AIOps team who is responsible for the OMEGAMON and ITCAM on z/OS monitoring products.
