Presentation

Many companies today utilize a variety of disparate systems in order to provide for the data processing needs of the business. Now more than ever before, these systems need a robust and resilient way to cooperate with each other using industry-standard techniques that are not overly complex. Join this session to discover how REST APIs provided by OPS/MVS can be used to provide mainframe automation integration points that can be easily utilized by other systems in your enterprise, including other mainframe systems!

  • Philip Strohecker at Broadcom Mainframe Software
  • I have been working for CA/Broadcom for 28 years in a variety of roles and on a variety of products. My roles have included sustaining engineering, quality assurance, development, and management. Some of the products I have worked on include Multi-image Manager (MIM), Automation Point, System Status Manager Option (Unicenter), Cross-Enterprise APM, Alert Central, Netmaster, and OPS/MVS. When not staring into a computer monitor, I enjoy tinkering with my digital movie-on-demand system, trap shooting, and playing rounds of golf.
