Stream: Virtual Room 2
Time: 15:00 - 16:00
In this session, I am going to talk about how you can leverage IMS specific Jenkins Plugins to make dynamic changes to the IMS resource definitions without the need to do IMSGENs, thereby eliminating the corresponding IMS downtime and also improve the performance of IMS and DB2 applications by identifying programs that use too many or too few IMS checkpoints and/or DB2 commits, which can cause resource wastage or locking problems. This session will also include a talk on how the IMS customers can use Database DevOps to their advantage by integrating IMS database changes into their enterprise DevOps automated CI/CD pipelines.
