Are you doing all you can to protect your data? Ransomware is a real threat that mainframe storage and security administrators need to be aware of and build defenses which can protect their organizations. Storage hardware and software technology has finally evolved to provide an effective and affordable solution. This session discusses a solution never before available in mainframe computing: System-wide Continual Data Protection. Data Protector for Z Systems (zDP) is based on Dell PowerMax storage technology that enables recovery from pervasive logical corruption, be it malicious ransomware or accidental processing errors, and provides the additional layer of protection that is quickly becoming required to neutralize modern cyber-attacks.
