Db2 for z/OS Data Sharing: Performance Considerations

(7J)

Stream: Virtual Room 7
Time: 13:30 - 14:30

Presentation

Asynchronous System Managed Duplexing of the Db2 lock structure provides both availability and performance!  Db2 data sharing environments with certain configurations are exploiting this feature; perhaps your organization can, too. This session explains the value of system managed duplexing (SMD), distinguishes synchronous SMD from asynchronous SMD, and reviews customer performance results.
