(QP)

Stream: Storage Management
Time: 12:15 - 13:00

Presentation

Abstract In today's dynamic digital economy, extended outages or downtime are not affordable. It is imperative for organizations to swiftly recover data at the granular, point-in-time level, eliminating the need for processes that could consume days or even weeks. This session will explore modern backup and recovery strategies that enable point-in-time data restoration, reducing reliance on lengthy full-volume restores to support maintaining business continuity. In this session, we will uncover how to: • Reduce application downtime due to data loss • Achieve a lower recovery point objective compared to traditional backup strategies • Reduce time and effort required for manually recovering data from full-volume snapshots • Enable faster recovery from ransomware attacks without the need for full-volume restoration
