By now, either you have an IMSplex or you've decided you don't need it. This presentation will showcase an implementation of a wholly new IMSplex (with data sharing & queue sharing and shared resources) done from scratch for the first time by a team of IMS novices, where they went from zero to a working test implementation in one week's time. It can also serve as a useful guide on where to find information and what other subsystems can be impacted by introducing IMSplex into the mix.
Filip is a young mainframe system programmer with 5 years of experience and with a particular interest in IMS. During his tenure as a sysprog, he has been heavily involved with security administration, storage management, application programming, IMS and Db2 database administration, and also with everything else z/OS-related in-between.
