Stream: MQ , WIT & Mainframe Audit
Time: 15:30 - 16:15
In tech teams, success often depends not just on code, but on the people who keep everything (and everyone) together. Management is designed to cover those, but who covers what management overlooks? All too often, those gaps are silently handled by women. This session explores the invisible work many women take on in enterprise IT — conflict resolution, onboarding support, backlog management, emotional mediation — all without formal titles or recognition. Based on personal experience, I’ll share stories of leading without being “the leader,” mentoring without being asked to, and the toll of trying to keep the team functional, emotionally connected, and able to deliver code. Whether you’re a manager who wants to better support your team or a woman wondering why you feel like the office duct tape — this talk offers insight, validation, and maybe a little existential rebirth.
