During the first part of the presentation, we will shortly recap what SRB is all about, the new features for z16 and zOS 3.1. Nex we go deeper into a methodology we developed to use SRB capacity when we have a capacity shortage at our production system. I will also explain the effects which you can see on system and hardware level when SRB kicks in In the second part of the presentation we presents our findings on the High First Reference Page Faults and High Job Initiation CPU time, we are reported as ‘problematic’ by WSC.
