Ever wondered how LLMs work? Trying to understand how best to use them in your business? Thinking about creating AI agents that need access to Apps and Data on z/OS? In this session we'll demystify the inner workings of LLMs and show how we're putting them to work to enhance the experience of working on z/OS. We'll also talk about how emerging standards like Model Context Protocol (MCP) are making it easier than ever before to integrate AI agents with your core applications on z/OS to rapidly deliver insights, value and novel user experiences to your customers

  • William Yates at IBM UK LTD.
  • Will Yates is a thought leader for modernisation and testing  on the IBM Z Platform. His has in depth knowledge of CICS Modernisation and how to apply DevOps concepts to applications running on IBM Z has led him to speak at user conferences worldwide, publish a set of books, Redpapers and online video courses.  He is the leader of the Galasa open source project, leading external  clients to build automated tests for their hybrid cloud applications.   He has also received several issued patents and is an accomplished  close-up magician.
