(NM)

Stream: Open Mainframe Project
Time: 16:45 - 17:30

Presentation

The session, designed for beginners and advanced practioners, offers insights and real-world examples on how to combine REST API usage and the Open Mainframe Project Zowe CLI to programmatically manage mainframe resources. Follow along as we walk you through how our own automation specialists used OPS/MVS System State Manager (SSM) APIs coupled with incident management tooling to create automated resource state management scripts. We’ll look at securely handling credentials, testing API interactions, and show how mainframe APIs can streamline maintenance, reduce manual effort, and improve incident response through deep integration.
