The key to your devops pipelines is testing. Testing takes up the most time and costs the most money of any single thing in a given project. Automating your testing and getting that right will lead to the most time and money saved from devops. The key to your testing is test data. If you do not have solid test data, if you cannot efficiently and easily pull testing data than you do not have good testing. The best source of testing data is your mainframe production data, but that comes with issues. GDPR, DORA, HIPAA and 100 other laws and regulations make pulling live production testing data complex at best. How do you manage pulling the data you need to ensure quality and velocity in your automation while still complying with security requirements and the ever more complex regulatory landscape? In this talk we will address these issues and more as we explore: • DLP, DPSM and other security strategies with Testing Data and Test Data Management • Compliance and the regulatory environment and how this affects Testing Data • What is PII and other sensitive data and how should you handle it • How does this affect the Mainframe
