System SSL is the component that all non-Java based z/OS applications use for TLS communication. It works closely with RACF keyrings and Communication Server. In this session we would discuss how certificates are retrieved from a keyring ending up being picked to be used in the handshake process. With this understanding, we would be more confident to decide what certificates are needed in the keyring and how they should be connected. A clean keyring is essential for efficient TLS communication.
