Currently a Lead Solutions Consultant at Rocket Software, based in the UK, and specialising in all aspects of mainframe application modernisation. Over a career of 40+ years, I have extensive experience in mainframe application discovery, development and modernisation, CICS, and COBOL. I also have a background in z/OS systems programming from earlier in my career. With many years spent working with Micro Focus, IBM, and now Rocket Software technologies, I have presented on various aspects of IBM Z mainframe and cloud technologies at numerous conferences worldwide. An AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, I am also a Chartered IT Professional and Member of the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, with Certificate of Current Competence.
