Stream: Large Systems
Time: 10:15 - 11:00
Ever wondered if that system will get through an IPL after six months? Will the new version of DB2 work when you move to production? How about trying out a new Z technology without bringing the system down? This session will show a way of creating a daily (or more!) copy of your production system and then testing it by loading the system. All automatically, using z/OS automation and scheduling , storage technology and BCPii. The same system can be used to test new hardware and software levels in a safe, segregated copy of your production system.
