John O'Dowd has over 40 years of experience in z/OS mainframe environments. He developed software products as a Lead Product Developer for BMC Software for 25 years. He is currently Senior Manager - Product Development for the IMS suite of products. John enjoys learning new technologies and mentoring the next generation of developers. He lives and works in Houston, Texas.
