Effective Application Management: how your programs, DBs, transactions, JCL, schedules, interconnect

(PM)

Stream: Service Management
Time: 16:45 - 17:30

Presentation

One of the major challenges in Application Development is to understand the ‘Big Picture’. In one place you change a piece of COBOL or PL/I code and in another place the interfaces and the batch jobs no longer work! Cleaning up the errors can then end in tiring and costly detective work. In this talk we will show you the effective and holistic application development solution of a Swiss insurance company that operates with the benefits of having that ‘Big Picture’.
