(6Q)

Stream: Virtual Room 6
Time: 13:45 - 14:30

Presentation

In IBM's Workload Automation Programming Language (WAPL), the SETVAR directive enables the creation of temporary variables through various methods, such as arithmetic expressions, substrings, or concatenation. These variables can be utilized within the job for dynamic processing.
WAPL allows sophisticated data manipulation and decision-making processes within jobs, extending beyond the capabilities of traditional JCL directives.
