In today's world resiliency for Mainframe CICS Applications is crucial and achieving zero downtime is the goal to delivering the highest level of service to customers. This session will explore the importance of implementing a High Availability (HA) architecture model within CICS. We will examine how an HA model minimizes downtime, enhances system resiliency, and introduces the use of CICSPlex SM as a tool to improve your resiliency. Using the Web User Interface (WUI) and the CICS Explorer we will cover the various options for CICS Dynamic Transaction Routing a feature within CICSPlex SM that allows you to route workload away from regions experiencing problems in the HA environment.
