A preview announcement of z/OS 3.2 was just made a few weeks back on April 8, 2025. Come get a sneak peak into some of the new z/OS 3.2 functions as well as the continual enhancements made to 3.1 in the last year. These enhancements can be found in the areas of Application Development, Usability & Skills, Scalability & Performance, Availability, Systems Management, Networking, Data Serving & Storage, and Security. Due to the length of this session, all enhancements cannot be covered in depth, so we'll focus on only the most recent.
There is currently no attachment for Recent Highlights in z/OS 3.1 and a Sneak Peak at z/OS 3.2
Steve is a Senior Technical Staff Member working at the IBM Poughkeepsie, NY USA laboratory as a Principal Solution Architect, helping IBM Z clients modernize their workloads, embrace hybrid cloud and leverage AI directly on the Z platform. He is also the creator of the z/OS BCPii and z/OS Client Web Enablement Toolkit z/OS components and still acts as an advocate for both. Steve is a seasoned presenter, and frequently presents at conferences around the world about a wide variety of topics related to z/OS.
